Madeline Bame (‘21), has had some exciting experiences during her time at Gardner-Webb. But what makes her Top 5 List are the things that have prepared her for life after college - like building relationships, traveling, and conducting original research. We sat down with her and discussed exactly what made these experiences so memorable.
Relationships. All of my excellent friends have turned into my family away from home. The people at Gardner-Webb have made my experience unforgettable.
Travel. I have had the opportunity to see so many new places in my short time at Gardner-Webb. I have tried so many things that I never thought I would, even tent camping! GWU travel is super affordable and unforgettable for everyone involved.
Peer Leading. Meeting awesome new students and helping them fall in love with GWU is the BEST!
Summer Scholars. I have fantastic professors and working with them one-on-one to create a successful active research study was incredibly rewarding, and gave me wonderful research experience as I consider graduate study.
Concert Choir. I have had such a great time traveling and singing with some of my best friends. I even get to sing my childhood dream solo in a few weeks during our production of Messiah.
